What this site collects, and what it does not.

What is collected

Only what you type into a form, and only when you submit it.

• The message form on the connect page asks for your name, email address, an optional organisation, what your message is about, and the message itself.
• The speaking inquiry asks for your name, email, an optional phone number, your organisation and role, an optional website and Instagram handle, and details of the event — its name, date, location, format, budget and any access requirements — along with your message.

Your IP address is held in memory for one hour to limit how many enquiries can be sent from one place. It is never written to disk, never stored alongside your message, and is discarded when the server restarts.

Buying a workbook is handled entirely by Gumroad, on their own checkout page, which the buy button opens in a new tab. Your email address, card details and billing country go to them, not to this site — nothing you type there passes through here, and no card number ever touches this server.

What is not collected

There is no analytics on this site. No tracking pixels, no advertising tags, no fingerprinting, and no third party watching which pages you read. Nothing you do here is profiled and nothing is sold or shared for marketing.

This site sets no cookies of its own, and nothing here follows you between pages. Nor does anyone else: the checkout used to open inside these pages, and now it does not, so nothing of Gumroad’s is loaded while you are here at all. Whatever they need to carry a payment through is set on their page, once you have chosen to go there. Your browser may keep its own record of pages you visit, as it does everywhere, but this site does not read it.

Where it goes

A submitted form becomes two emails: one to Ekemini, and a confirmation to the address you gave, so you have a record of what you sent. Both are delivered by Resend, an email provider, which processes them to send them. Nobody else receives your information.

Your enquiry then lives in Ekemini’s own inbox, for as long as the conversation is useful. It is not added to a mailing list — this site has no mailing list.

A workbook purchase goes to Gumroad, who sell it to you as the merchant of record: they take the payment, work out the tax, email your receipt and serve the download. Ekemini sees the order — what was bought, when, and the address it went to — and never sees your card.

Embedded services

Booking a call opens a scheduling window from Cal.com. What you enter there goes to Cal.com under their privacy policy, not through this site. Episode links lead out to YouTube, Spotify and Apple Podcasts, and retailer links to Amazon and others; once you follow one, that company’s policy applies.

Your choices

You can ask what is held about you, ask for a copy, ask for corrections, or ask for it to be deleted. Email hello@eqwithek.com and say which. There is no form to fill in and no account to close — deletion means the emails are removed from the inbox they arrived in.

If you are in the UK or the EU, the lawful basis for handling an enquiry is legitimate interest: you contacted her, and she needs your details to reply.

Changes

If this site ever adds analytics, a mailing list or another service that handles your information, this page changes first and the date at the top changes with it.
